It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved founder this past February. His vision, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit were the driving forces behind our hotel.
A true adventurer at heart, he and his wife loved to travel, drawing inspiration from the many unique places they visited. The charm of Key West, the vibrancy of the Caribbean, and the serene beauty of Indonesia all played a role in shaping the hotel’s distinctive design and ambiance.
Environmental conservation was also a cause close to his heart. His commitment to sustainability led to the implementation of energy-saving key card-activated room lights, the reduction of paper and plastic use in guest rooms and at the breakfast buffet, and the installation of Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations.
Above all, he was passionate about people. His dream was to create a place of warmth and hospitality, where guests would experience exceptional customer service, a relaxing atmosphere in the atrium, and a level of cleanliness that was second to none.
Beyond the hotel, he dedicated both his time and resources to the revitalization of downtown Logan. His contributions extended to the restoration of the historic Logan Theater (www.logantheater.org), where he invested countless hours and significant financial support with the goal of bringing new life to this cherished landmark.
His presence, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the community will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
