About Us

Local business owners came together to create our friendly hotel to help showcase a revitalized downtown Logan. Besides local creative artisan shopping we have several locally owned restaurants and music venues. There are guided tours of the Columbus Washboard Factory, The Hocking Hills Moonshine Company, and the Historic Logan Theater, which is currently being renovated.

Downtown Logan and the area host many seasonal events including the Frozen Festival, The Airstream Urban Air RV Weekend, The Washboard Festival, The Backyard BBQ, The Lilyfest, the Hocking County Fair and the Indian Run.

As a part of the community our hotel works closely with other local businesses owners and with the local school system.

Why “Worthington of Logan” name?

We believe in embracing the rich history of Logan, Ohio. Thomas Worthington platted what would become the city of Logan in 1816. He served as Ohio’s 6th governor from July 1773-June 1827. Worthington is also known as the “Father of the Ohio-Erie Canal” and is a member of the Ohio Hall of Fame.

The hotel is within walking distance of Worthington Park, which is located at the center of Logan’s historic downtown. This park was designed as a meeting place and an area of reflection since the inception of Logan, so it’s no coincidence that we felt this was a fitting name to celebrate downtown Logan and a bit of Ohio’s heritage.

Historical Room Plaques

Our rooms have been named after someone or something important to our local history. We are in the process of installing bronze plaques describing a bit of our heritage and you’ll eventually see them next to each room door.
