The holiday season is here, and Logan, Ohio, along with the scenic Hocking Hills, is packed with festive fun! This year is extra special with the first-ever New Year’s Eve Ball Drop on Main Street. Bring the family to celebrate with an ice rink, Polar Express Train Ride, music and much more with the local merchants and vendors.  The community has come together to design and build a unique ball with glass spires from Jack Pine Studio https://www.jackpinestudio.com/.  Let’s welcome the New Year together!  Click here for more information https://www.explorehockinghills.com/festivals-events/downtown-logan-new-year-s-eve-ball-drop-party/

Earlier in the season, don’t miss Logan’s Christmas Parade on December 7 at 2:00pm.  Themed “Through the Years” the parade will be a joyful event filled with floats, music, holiday spirit and Santa Claus down the main streets of Logan. Throughout December, Worthington Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, perfect for a family stroll or holiday photos.

On January 18, 2025 there is an entire day of activities in Hocking Hills and downtown Logan.  The day starts with the annual Winter Hike in Hocking Hills State Park https://ohiodnr.gov/home/news-and-events/all-events/parks-wc-events/SE-Ohio/WinterHikeHockingHills-1-18-25.  Afterwards, head to Logan where you can enjoy the Frozen Festival in downtown Logan.
